Celebration of the Serbian Miners' Day

On Wednesday, August 6, a ceremony on the occasion of the Central Celebration of the Serbian Miners' Day and the opening of the adapted Cultural Centre in Rudnik was held. The following persons spoke at the ceremony: Mr Darko Vukobratović, director of company Contango, Mr Aleksandar Antić, Serbian minister of mining and energy, and Mr Aco Ilić, managing director of company Rudnik. During the programme, minister Antić presented awards to the best Serbian miners. Mr Aco Ilić, managing director of company Rudnik, presented recognitions to the most important institutional partners of company Rudnik during the ten years of its successful activity. They were presented to representatives of the Ministry of Mining and Energy, Gornji Milanovac Municipality, Serbian Interior Ministry - Emergency Situations Sector, Faculty of Mining and Geology and the Mining Institute.On the occasion of the Serbian Miners' Day, company Rudnik i flotacija doo Rudnik organized an OPEN DOOR DAY for its employees and their families and for its former employees who have retired,  in the Jama and Flotacija plants. Delicious food and drinks were served to the sound of a brass band. Sports events were organized in the Rudnik FK Mladi Rudar colony football field.
